    Rhino XR

We just aquired a Rhino XR educational robot. We have the complete robot and the manuals but no control or power supply. I think we can get the pendant too. I contacted Rhino and the cost of a control is $5000.00 dollars.
My question is there anyone who can point us in the right directon for a cheaper alternative to the original controller? We no huge plans for this and just want to learn from it. It would be nice if we could teach it to assemble Traxxas rod ends for us. I am getting carpel tunnel from that job(at least that is my current excuse for not having them done.)
BTW the guy who traded this robot to us had one or two more when I last heard from him. He is a little hard to contact but I can try if anyone is interested.
    Thank you.

Probably a home-build PC control running EMC2 for the arm kinematics. EMC2 seems to be an acomplished non-standard machine controller(simple machines too)

I remember playing with one of those in 1984. Vocational electronics class.

    Hello
We have been too busy to do anything productive with the Rhino XR and would like to sell it. Do any of you have a suggestion as to where the best place to list it would be?
    Thank you
    Roger
