mouse roll with proE wildfire 3

Hello everyone.
We had installed on a win 2K workstation the proE Wildfire3 M010. Recently we updated it to M170 version, but the central mouse roll does not work, i.e. it is not possible to zoom images by using it. I tried by re-installing and change several settings, byt nothing worked.
What could be the reason of this disfunction?
