    DOGLEG RAPID

    how can i show dogleg rapids in pro e?rapids go in a straight line now but at the mach they angle to the shortest 1st and then go the rest in a straight line.

    Wow, that's a tough one. Probably be easier to tell Mach to interpolate the rapids so that they are straight line motions. In instances where the tool may crash, you could replace the G00 with a high feedrate G01.

    I have had this problem once in a while, usually when drilling bolt circles, but the easy solution is to use a higher rapid clearance plane so that the tool clears the clamps between holes.
    First you get good, then you get fast. Then grouchiness sets in.
