Drilling dept in proman

I have been working on proman for some time. I started in version 18. I hve had a issue with it for some time. I do parts with alot of intersecting holes "over 100+". Pro will see the intersecting hole then only connect enough for full diameter. This works well 90% of the time. Some of my holes have threads going almost to the bottom of a hole or need more than simply a connection for a parts that fits in the hole. Other than doing a instance of my part I see no other way to control the depth when there is an intersecting hole. I tried all the parameters with no luck. I want to use the geometry of the hole to control depth so when there is an engineering change my hole depth will change as well. Any ideas?

TIA

I'm just starting out with Pro-man. By no means an expert! Not the easiest thing to use. I'm using Pro-Wildfire2. When you make the NC sequence could you go into your parameter tree and adjust the parameter "breakout distance"? Would this give you extra depth if need be?

Bob,
Breakout distance is an override of the correct hole depth. If you use breakout distance it should update witha model change. The problem is that I have hydraulic elevator valve parts that have "alot" of holes and I would have to go thru the program and verify that all the depths are correct. This is a real PIA. This is another issue that proe thinks that it is smarter then we are in design intent. When pro scans the hole it should drill the hole to the depth that it was designed. It does not do this it only connects the hole plus a little and then retracts. I have this issue out in some other places and at this point have not recieved a "true" correction.
