Pro E Student ed and getting Gcode

Hi I'm a final year mechanical engineering student and currently trying to machine an impeller.

The college only has Pro E Wildifire 4.0 and 5.0 both student versions,

I'm abit unsure on how to get the Gcode for this,

so does anyone know of a free (trial package) of a good cam system where i can do this.

Also I am getting Solidworks and have access to Ansys full programs, so using these could i export the pro e into these and some and from this to a cam system that will give the Gcode.

Any help would be much appreciated

    You need a post processor.

I agree, but the student version is specifically limited to only 1 post processor: UNCX01. You can't change it or install another like gpost, hence that perl script for post-post-processing. Double check the code in a simulator of course, but better than the full cost ($3.5k to start).

Is this a project for school? If so, shouldn't the school provide the necessary tools? Isn't that part of your education tuition?

I actually do not know how this works. I've not gone to college so I'm curious.
