    holes

When in the standard hole making mode (drilling), I can not control the starting and ending depths. On rare occasions it will take a starting surface and ending surface but normally no matter what surfaces I referance or z inputs I use, when I exit the hole making menu it tells me I haven't entered any depths. I believe this is a bug.
The software will swallow the "automatic" option so I then have to manually adjust the G code (G81, G83 etc).
I'm curious if I'm missing something or if it's a well known bug.
    thanks
    Tony

It sounds to me like you are having graphic interface problem !
    1. Do you see the surface highlite after selection ?
    2. Do you actually select surface, the surface may just be in query select you must right click to the surface you want when it is highlite then left click! left is you enter right is your query
query=( toggle through surfaces that are in range of graphic pick)
3.You Must have 3 button mouse for Pro E.
4.Pick deep hole for G83 cycle(must enter peck value in Parameter tree) . Pick break chip for G73 Your post Must be set up correctly in order for this to work.
    5.Possible non compatable Vidio card
    6. Has bugs go I have not had A bug in Pro E since I learned in Complete 99% of the time it is operator error
