    Proge Cad vs Turbo CAD

    Hi guys
I am interested in learning CAD and I bought Turbo cad deluxe about 6 months ago. I am getting ready to spend some time w/ it and I came across Proge cad. I would like to take a class in the next year and I realized that Auto cad is the only cad class I see. I assumed that Turbo cad was a shorter silmilar version of Acad. Before I get started do you guys thinkk I should consider Pcad even though I own my 35.00 copy of turbo cad.Ease of use and cost are the obvious limitations. Does anyone have any opinions on ease of use of turbo cad versus the other two mentioned.
Just wanted to get some opinions from the experts.

i found progecad much easier to use than turbo cad deluxe , i bought turbo cad deluxe a while back and I hate it
you can get the progecad smart ( 2d ) for free

I recently bought viacad 2d/3d and I find it to be a great program , easy to use , solid modeling and surfacing , and its cheap at $99 dollars

So I take it you would sugggest a total newbi without natural skills would be better off learning Pcad rather than spending the time w/ Tcad? Easier to learn is deff worth a few more bucks due to the fact that its kinda useless if its gonna sit on a shelf. Thats usually what happens,If its too diff. I get bored quickly and put it aside.

thats my problem too , most times when it comes to this stuff I have the attention span and patience of a two year old

you can download the free progecad and decide for yourself if it suits your needs and if you dont like it the theres nothing to lose

Thanks for the input. I think I will do that along w/ purchasing the new version of Delta cad which is a bit limited but supposedly very easy for the beginner.
