    What is it, where do you get it, what does it cost.

    And how close is it to the real deal (acad)?

    $349 for the download version

    I've used the free Smart version, and it's almost identical to AutoCAD without the 3D and programming stuff. I believe most of the commands are the same, and it even looks the same. Haven't tried the full version, but it's supposed to be very close.

    is it similar to Intellicad, bricscad etc...

    I tried intellicad, but lisp routines (some of them anyways) failed, and it generally ran slower than the real deal, also corrupted drawings....
