I got a freeby AutoCAD 14, the boss had a buddy at AutoDesk who sent him a copy which he gave to me.

Computers don't last forever and eventually it refused to work under Windows 7 on a 64 bit machine.

It was probably fixable but I bought ProgeCAD instead, got the dongle so I can use it at my desk and in the workshop.

The only learning curve was recognising the new icons on the tool bars.

Would be nice if I could figure out how to get relative co-ordinates when I drag an endpoint but no complaints from me, it's a bargain at the price.

    best

There's probably an option for absolute or relative in the "Options". There is in AutoCAD.

Or, click on the point, and type @ and the relative coordinate, like @3,3 to move 3,3 from the current location.

    You would think so

It gets close to what I want in Tools/Drawing Settings/Display then runs out of options just one menu too soon
