    Handcrafted Log homes with CNC

    Hello

I developed a process to produce handcrafted log homes with a 5 axis CNC in the fraction of time then it is done by hand. That's why this process can produce now log homes cheaper then anybody else.
    The process is as following:
    • 3D scanning of the logs
    • build the 3D model in the computer
    • cut the log on a cnc machine

    more information here:
    website: www.ballmer.ca
    videos: ballmersystems's Channel - YouTube

We are currently producing in Estonia (Europe). I am Swiss and living in Canada. I am hoping to find somebody in North America who would like to use my process to build these homes. Unfortunately there are not so many suitable 5 axis CNC machines in North America. The machine needs min. following dimensions:
    • length: 6m
    • width: 50cm
    • height 50cm

There are some used machines (~50K) on the marked who would work. I can adopt my software to any standard cnc controller.

If you are interested so please contact me via PM.

    Thanks, Duesentrieb

Surely 'handcrafted log homes' is a bit of a misnomer if they are done using a 5 axis machine?
An open mind is a virtue...so long as all the common sense has not leaked out.
