So what's in the box then?
Quick update from my end.
The controller box is now 90% finished with the Frontpanel maybe having one more re-jig just to bring the LCD center.

I am sure you will agree that the style of the controller box suits the frame design.
The controller box comes as a complete solution with Printer, serial and USB port built in.
This means you can run the controller box with the excellent range of software already out there via the Printer port or you can use the serial, USB port and write your own software that will take advantage of the smooth built in processor control.
The controller box has now turned into a full development box that will allow people to upload their own processor firmware to control the box.
We will be releasing on going firmware and software examples as we go along, that are free to anyone who wants to download and update their controller box with.
The development pages on the site have been updated with the serial protocol we will be using to control the firmware.
Will post the full spec along with pictures in the next couple of weeks.
It is now looking in line for us to have the Frame and controller box ready for sale by November.
People will be able to buy just the controller box by itself also or complete with frame.
Regards
Sean.

So what's in the box then?
(Note: The opinions expressed in this post are my own and are not necessarily those of CNCzone and its management)
Inside the box is a Transformer which supplies 37Volts at 5amp and has 3 variable regulators that can be set 0-37Volts.Originally Posted by kong
We have set the 3 outputs to 30Volts, 12Volts and 5 Volts as it suits the needs of the boards inside.
The 30Volt supplies a 3 Axis xylotex controller board.
The 12Volt supplies the Fan and Aux2 outputs for switching relays.
The 5Volt supply runs the Processor Board and LCD board etc etc.
Will get some pictures up on site later on in the week, so you can see it, if interested.
Regards
Sean.
