Carousel Disk for Haas VMCs

Designed for retrofit to Haas VF-Series Cat-40 machining centers.

The "CMI Segmented Carousel Disk" currently purchased by machine shops around the country is machined from 6061 T6 billet aluminum. This design combats the nagging problems of cracks and warping that lead to carousel failure. The effects of toolholder taper-lock in the spindle are also reduced even after a long cycle. However if the CMI Segmented Carousel Disk becomes damaged you only replace the effected segmente.

Preassembled with roll pins, the 21-piece unit has 1 base and 20 modular toolholder station inserts.

Our latest carousel innovation design features preassembled modular toolholder station inserts (curently in testing phase) Instead of needing to remove the entire carousel from the machine, you only need to remove and replace the effected area and get right back to machining.

The "CMI Segmented Carousel Disk" greatly reduces costs associated with prolonged/unexpected downtime.

Buyer Feedback - CMI Segmented Tool Disk:
"We ran a fixture mount into the tool changer. The sheet metal on the outside had to be removed and straightened but your disk came right back into place."
