Hello Tormach Owners, After years of programming and working with Tormach machinery, Tosa Tool has begun developing a line of Tormach Accessories. Many of these products have been successfully used by Tosa Tools customers who were looking for Turn Key Solutions for their Tormach Machinery and now they are available to Tormach owners looking for solutions on their own. Visit www.tosatool.com for the milling and new TURNING products. New products will be added as they are developed and proven to be successful additions to the Tosa Tool Accessory product line up. Yep, it should. I saw yours long ago. I had a customer call me for a turning solution and he asked me if I could build him something similar to what he saw on you tube. He is turning Titanium and he needed rigidity. This is what I came up with. It is now custom keyed and bolted to the center keyway on the Tormach and made from hardened tool steel. I went with the square holder for standard turning tools and made inserts for 1/2" diameter shank drills and boring tools. All of this is customizable, and I also make a different plate that bolts on the front that holds the Tormach Tool System holders and the square shank holders in a variety of sizes up to 20" long (the maximum travel in X on the Tormach). Now I have made 3 of them and sold 2 so far. All customers are very happy with it and they are using them daily. Your example was his inspiration and a starting point for my design. (although I have seen VMC turning before your video). Thank you for your part in a Tormach customers need for a machining solution, Dan Bye www.tosatool.com |

The basic kit comes with hardened tool steel fixture, all screws to put it together, a 7 piece turning tool kit, inserts for each tool holder, a boring bar, and 3 instructional videos showing assembly, setting the tool offsets and simple programming for the Turning Fixture. Pricing is flexable depending on your application needs. This is the basic 6 station kit that I have designed already. www.tosatool.com See the Tosa Tool Tormach Compatible Accessories Page located here: http://tosatool.com/tormachprod.htm |
