NEMI Announces NEMI Distributed Exclusively By Kurt! NEMI is pleased to announce our recent Exclusive Distributor Relationship with Kurt Manufacturing making them the exclusive worldwide distributor of the NEMI vacuum workholding product line as well as NEMI’s full line of tooling accessories including tool setters, digitizers and vacuum tables.

The addition of the NEMI product line opens new markets for Kurt, which traditionally has sold its workholding products to manufacturers of precision aerospace, medical, computer and defense products.

Kurt is the world’s largest manufacturer of precision machine vises and custom engineered workholding since it pioneered the precision machine vise with its Anglock® design in 1961. Since then, Kurt has set the standard for precision and flexible workholding in high speed machining centers with dozens of patented products most of which have evolved from its original and unique Anglock design.

NEMI was established in 1993 and has developed a broad range of vacuum actuated workholding devices sold primarily to the wood and stone manufacturing industries. By partnering with Kurt, NEMI plans to expand its market reach through Kurt’s large and well-established distributor/dealer network. Similarly, Kurt plans to leverage some of its products into NEMI’s traditional markets and expand the Kurt product line with vacuum Workholding.
