New, affordable Mach3 break-out board from DMM Tech Corp. Vancouver, BC, June 16, 2009 - DMM Technology Corp. (www.dmm-tech.com) is proud to announce the near completion of our in-house developed break-out board for exclusive integration of Mach3 with DMM's Dyn AC servo drive, and motors. Features include: - Completely opto-isolated - 4 axis control (x,y,z,a) - 4 axis independent home limit switch inputs - Emergency switch(E-STOP)input Preliminary testing have rendered better than expected results, and we are currently awaiting a new batch of production break-out board. Customers should expect our break-out board to begin shipping within the next few weeks. Current perspective price for the board is $50.00 USD. To receive update e-mail notifications on our Mach3 integration progress, please inquire at info@dmm-tech.com

For the 250watts DMM brushless AC servo, DMM have developed a formula for how to determine the CNC machine moment inertia with the input of ballscrew length, radius, lead, and belt/gear reducer ratio etc. Then according to the calculated machine moment inertia, by looking up a gains charts, the user is easy to find out the gains settings for the servo drive. all this described in http://www.dmm-tech.com/Dyn2-Driver.html, section 10 Also there is an example for 2m ballscrew in length, 200kg load mass for reference. www.dmm-tech.com |

Dyn servo is using 14bits absolute encoder for position / speed servo, the position information is feedbacked to drive through differential SPI signals, with accumulation error protection algorithm, it is significantly more reliable than normal optical encoder.

The $250.00(USD) for a set of 220watts servo, include drive, 220watts brushless ac servo motor with mounted 14bits absolute encoder, is the price for production. We will keep this price stable, but may have some small adjustment year by year according to the situation of inflation.

DMM Technology has introduced a high torque brushless AC servo motor, 7.2Nm Peak, driven by Dyn2 AC servo drive, in a purpose to drive the ballscrew or pinion directly without gear or belt reducer. The max speed for the 7.2Nm AC servo motor is 1000Rpm, very low cogging, very smooth, quiet. For more information please have a reference at http://www.dmm-tech.com/Motor.html Thanks
