Tired of worn-out pumps? Broken impellars, fried motors, worn bearings, seals, and diaphrams? Depending on your application....those days are over! Introducing "The Garnet Pump"- a unique pattented design that could also be referred to as a Chamber Pump for lack of a better term. It was originally desinged to pump sludge and steel slag out of steel pits but has also been ever-growing popular in the water-jet industry for cleaning tanks full of garnet. The fact that it can pump sludge/slurry containing suspended solids up to 2 inches in diameter without repercussion is the key to its many applications including: Abrasive liquids Acetone/glycerine Acids Adhesives Animal fats Carbides in alcohol Caustics Ceramic slurries Chemically aggressive liquids Chocolate Colorings Detergents Dirty detergent solutions Dirty seawater Dirty solvents Edible oils Foaming chemicals Fuel additives Flavorings Inks Latex Machine tool coolants Paints Plastics Polymers Pulp fiber Reclaimed or other liquids containing particles Resins Sand water Slurries Sugar solutions Thin and non-lubricating liquids Varnishes Volatile fluids Waste water Water jetting Weather-proofing solutions The pump currently utilizes a 2" intake and 2" exhaust line with a flow rate of roughly 30 g.p.m. with a zero head, or ground level, worksite. It has been successfully tested to push "sludge" over 180 feet straight up to help overcome potential problems when encountering extreme environments. We have emptied our 19' x 6' x 3' tank, when completely filled to the top with used garnet, in 20 man hours! Consisting of a sealed chamber and (2) 2-inch check valves and no moving parts, operation requires a single ~115 VAC plug outlet and an air line with the average pressure of 80 p.s.i. (max. 120 p.s.i.) for optimal performance. The Garnet Pump uses a unique design combination of both electrical and pneumatic energy in order to move objects suspended in fluid. A special feature of this pump is all controls and fluid level monitoring devices are located outside the pump chamber. This protects pump components promoting greater reliability and longer life. $150.00 off list price for orders taken by 4-30-09 if you mention you are a CNCZone member!
