Can the credit be applied to an upgrade from express to advantage?? I'd do that in a minute.

Well, I don't know if the entry form suits my foreign location, or whether I can afford to make use of the offer. But I did enter as best I could.

And to those who have been here for a while and wonder why I even bother to enter: pick a guess... silence is not praise....

One thing is for sure: the act of offering this to a community of mostly amateurs is a gesture that is very welcome, and CNCzone must be proud to be chosen for this offer.

Yeah - I found even with the discount it can still be to expensive for a lot fo people who would really love to take advantage of the special. I was hoping I could, but it is still way to expensive for me.

It doesn't hurt to inquire, guys. Part of shopping is getting used to what the goods cost.

Heck, when I went shopping for a used Haas, I wanted to spend only $25K, but ended up spending $42K when it was done. After examining and comparing with what else was out there, I don't feel like I got gyped. And I probably wouldn't have taken this step in my business if it wasn't for the incredible difference that OneCNC has made in my access to more challenging work, at competitive prices because it doesn't take very long to get some excellent code out of it.

I might not buy such software to only produce a part or two, but once you have it, and a good machine, some real possiblities open up.

I want to make many parts - but no matter what I do, I would not have the money for the software. Wife would kill me. Our budget is limited - wish the software could be more afordable as after readin all the positive things on this message board like your post here, it made me really want it.

I still have a lot to learn about machining, but would love to have some nice software to help.

My sympathies with you, Studysession. Got any bad, expensive habits?

But, I'd suggest to make a budget that saves for it....it'll then happen eventually.

What level software did you believe you needed to get started? What do you have for a machine?

I currently have a 3axis CNC mill. I want something that I can take any DXF file or drawing I make from any program and have something that can export the cutting paths I need to use with Mach2 - I want it to also to take account of the size of cutting tool I am using.

I also have a lathe that I want to CNC next year. Would want to use it for that too.

And yes I do have very expensive habbits - Please do not laugh, but I am trying to break the world speed record with an RC car. I have many sponsors but somethings I have to buy somethings myself and it gets costly. A lot fo parts I can not buy but have to make myself. That is what I have the machining stuff for. I want to make after market hop-ups for RC cars when this is all said and done.

More info on my cars if you are interested: http://studysession.com

Thanks!
