Today has been released the Beta 2 of devCad Cam Pro application, see http://www.devcad.com Here is a brief list of the added features of the Cam version of devCad (for the Cad feature you can see www.devcad.com) Main features: Tool database with full management, with tool shape preview Management of Cam project, like a collection of objects to machine e toolpaths The import of the objects is done from the Cad part of the application, where you have full access to all the advanced 2D cad functions. During the import job all TrueType text are converted to regions, so that you can machine then immediately In the Cam graphic View you the objects can be: - copy&pasted - rotated - moved - mirrored - scaled - deleted with snap and object snap fetaures You have printing and printing preview features, with tiling Toolpath types: - Profiling with automatical computation of offset and side - Area clearance, raster or offset (like ArtCam Insignia) - Machine along vector - Drilling You can apply a Pre Drilling automatic Path to all these jobs, simply enable it and select the right Tool, all the paths will be created automatically Every job is applied as a serie of toolpaths at incremented Path, according to the StepDow parameter of the selected Tool You can apply associative Bridges to object, used in Profiling toolpath. Bridges can be created automatically according several strategies, or manually with editing functions Bridges have lenght and height parameters By Drag&Drop on a Treeview panel you can modify on the fly the order of Toolpaths, element inside the single toolpath, apply automatical sorting according to several strategies and so on. Al the actions have an infinite Undo-Redo feature You can then export to a 3D DXF, with a layer for every Toolpath and different colors for Rapid Moves, Working paths and GoHome You can create GCode or similar files using a post processing file fully compatible with the .con file of ArtCam Insignia thank your for your attenction the devCad team |
