Akela Australia Pty. Ltd. is proud to announce that our company has recently been appointed the official agents and representatives for Thermwood CNC Routers and eCabinet Systems software throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Akela Australia will strive to give our prospective and existing Thermwood customers a reliable source for service and support that is 100% backed by Thermwood Corporation in USA.

We currently have representatives undergoing intensive training at Thermwood's main facility in Dale USA. This training incorporates Thermwood’s eCabinet Systems software along with machine service and installation.

How will the woodworking industry benefit in the future?

Akela Australia aims to provide local support where possible. We will immediately have local representation in Wollongong NSW (Akela's head office, also covering Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle and the far South Coast), Melbourne VIC and Perth WA. In time we aim to increase local support to other areas as the need arises. For clients that reside outside of these mentioned areas, our engineering and training team will come to you.

eCabinet Systems software is a high-end drawing package that has been developed in-house by Thermwood Corporation and is available (at no cost) to any business servicing the industry. This network will not only be marketed to companies that have expressed an interest in CNC Machinery, but also to kitchen and furniture designers that wish to use the software and utilise machine owners as contractors. They will have the ability to access an extensive list of Thermwood CNC Machine owners that are willing to be contracted for cutting eCabinet job files.
