Hi, For those of you who have been waiting, version 3 of the DC-06 DigiSpeed is now completed and available. http://homanndesigns.com/store/index...products_id=39 The DC-06 is the latest in the range of DigiSpeed controllers It accepts a Step pulse input and converts it to an isolated 0-10V Voltage, for controlling VFDs and DC motor controllers. The DC-06 has a comprehensive list of features including; 1. 5V reverse polarity protection. If you accidentally miss-wire the 5V supply to the DC-06, no harm is done due to the on-board protection. 2. Active Hi, or Active Lo input polarity selection. This allows you to match the input polarity to the breakout board you are using. It's not just a matter of changing the polarity of the outputs in Mach3, you need to match it to the pullup or pulldon resistors on your breakout board. 3. Step Pulse width tolerance. The DC-06 is not affected by the Step Pulse width setting in Mach3. This allows you to tune the step pulse width to suit your stepper or servo motors, rather that using it to try and get you isolated 0-10V voltage generator to work. 4. The DC/DC converter is now pluggable via a socket. That way if you find that your VFD or DC motor controller does not provide a sufficient supply for the DigiSpeed, you can just plug in a DC/DC converter and you will be working. 5. Indicator LEDs. The DC-06 DigiSpeed has indicator LEDs that help with setting up. You no longer need to guess what's going on. o 5V power Indicates 5V power supply o Relay 1 on Indicates Relay 1 is on o Relay 2 on Indicates Relay 2 is on o Output Voltage intensity Brightness indicates output voltage value The DC-06 also has the usual features provided with the DigiSpeed range such as; o Pluggable connectors for easy installation o Mounting stand-offs provided o quality SMT construction for reliability The DigiSpeed DC-03 and DC-05 will under go the same treatment. Two relays will be added to the boards along with the facility for the pluggable DC/DC converter. The form factor of the board will change to be the same as the DC-06. Cheers, Peter. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Web: www.homanndesigns.com email: support2008@homanndesigns.com Phone: +61 421 601 665 www.homanndesigns.com/ModIO.html - Modbus Interface Unit www.homanndesigns.com/DigiSpeedDeal.html - DC Spindle control www.homanndesigns.com/TurboTaig.html - Taig Mill Upgrade board
