CandCNC announces a new ESP (Enhanced Smart Power) Controller. Building on our earlier processor based SPSC "Smart" Power Controllers and available in all our new RouterPak and PlazPak products, the ESP-650 (Stepper based systems) and ESP-1500 (Larger Servo Based Systems) are the best solution to protect your motor drives and give you instant feedback on both operational and fault conditions.

This is the first, and currently only, Complete Multi-Axis Power Controller with the following features:

1. AC quad shutdown chain (Electronic, Relay, Breaker, Switch) 120VAC 60HZ or 220-240 VAC 50/60HZ (option).
2. AC Ultra Soft Start. Limits in-rush to safe levels.
3. Overvoltage Protection (Line and Motor BEMF) Undervoltage lockout.
4. Electronic Overload Shutdown (300 times faster than conventional fusing). Final Worst Case individual drive fusing
5. OverTemp detects improper cooling and drive conditions
6. Gecko Servo Drive optimized interface (servo models) with Softstart delayed reset, and Differential Encoder interface.
7. Centralized Gecko Servo Shutdown.
7. Power OFF on Fault conditions.
8. PWM Exponential Load Dump (dynamic braking)
9. On-Board "Dash Lights" for quick local troubleshooting
10. Modular design makes for easy troubleshooting and repair.
11. Full Serial Communications (multi-drop) with MACH
12. On-screen Running Conditions in MACH (screens provided)
13. Fault dialog box shows in text WHAT (and which drive) caused the fault.
14. PANIC button shuts down POWER to motors instantly.
15. Isolated signals back to MACH for software E-stop
16. Dynamic (real time) Load Graph in MACH shows actual load conditions
17. Hi-Flow Filtered Fan Cooling.
18. Numerous models to choose from including 3, 4, 5 or 5.5 axis systems.
19. Stepper, Servo or mixed options.
20. EZplug cards for External I/O signals (Homes/Limits)
21. MP1000C series (included) supports up to 5.5 axis and expanded I/O
