You are probably right. The software that I am using to convert DXF to Gcode is called LazyCAM. It is a Beta program by ARTSOFT. Unfortunately, it is no longer supported which makes for a problem. It converts the files very well, but it won't allow me to edit the GUI graphics to remove or change any of the lines.

Basically my needs are simple, 1. convert the DXF to Gcode. 2. Allow editing of the GUI graphics to remove the LEADIN and LEADOUT lines and rapid moves, or 3. Allow conversion without any rapids or LEAD lines.

I am in Germany, so we are in the same time zone. Where in Romania are you at?

Hi Larry,

I think that SoftONE-CNC can do your request, which mean that can make conversion of DXF files and back blot if necessary, edit the length of leadin(leadout) or remove leadin and leadout (=0 in option menu). Also, you can adjust the postprocessor output according to your needs. The next version will give also the possibility for changing the angle of leadin or/and leadout.

If the nesting job contain more than one parts and also from moving of the CNC head from origin to part and viceversa , it is necessary rapid movements. What about you request about removing the rapid lines ? It is about the DXF nesting sketch?
If you consider that SoftONE-CNC application is suitable for your needs, I can remake for you an affordable price.
If you are in Gemany is very good because we are in the same tiemzone. I'm am in the SW part of the Romania, Drobeta Turnu Severin town, but I stay also in Timisoara town (west part of Romania) because there I have also some clients.
