Hi,
I'm not looking for anything i particular and I have a feeling that the business is more aimed at the comercial sector but can you please explain one thing: Why is it you have to register to be able to see anything but the most basic overview of the products. I know you're not alone of that policy but it just gets to me and I have never been able to figure out why.

Our website and catalog for 2008 are in the working stages. Catalogs will be available along with PDF and CAD without registration. The reason this is done, is Marketing believes that someone looking for information and registers on the website is a warm prospect. We are changing this in 2008 to make our information available to the viewer as fast as possible. Today you only have a few seconds to get the attention of the viewer! If you send me you email address, I'll tell you how to get in without registering.

Thank you for the explanation! And thank you for the offer but like I said, I'm not looking for anything in particular. I can see the marketing department's point, I just read your post like:
Come on in, have a look at our wonderful products. I said OK, I'll have a look but then i was stoped at the door by a guy telling me:
If you don't tell me where you work, where you live, and how we can contact you can only look thru the window - so I left.

I agree. I will register only for my bank and different forums. The forums, I register for use email addresses I may use once every few months to delete everything from. Companies that require registration, I just click off.

To me, registration for customers indicates that the CEO is an idiot - so why would I buy from a company run by an idiot?

Just my opion (and that of everyone I do business with.)
