"Realizing the easily measurable benefits of VoluMill requires no special knowledge or training," said Glenn Coleman, chief product officer for Celeritive. “There are no tricks or gimmicks involved in VoluMill, just clear, sound, shop-floor machining fundamentals. It is not limited to special-case use; rather, it is the only 2-axis milling toolpath anyone will ever need, and the most effective. This online, interactive experience clearly shows that NC programmers, using their current CAM system, can generate VoluMill toolpaths quickly and easily.”
With a virtually unlimited combination of machining parameters, users can generate as many toolpaths as desired from VoluMill Interactive's menu of predefined parts. The company’s secure remote servers generate the toolpaths in real time and return G-code for and images of the requested toolpaths. The G-code can be read into an NC editor or CAM system for inspection. If desired, it can be edited to include the requisite startup and shutdown commands and used to cut these parts on the user’s machine tool. Users with further interest can try VoluMill on their own parts by signing up for a 15-day free trial.
