Hi Jay,

I've put together a brief video that shows how to manually offset a design to compensate for the cutter radius when doing inlay work.

http://www.vectric.com/vectric/image...ual_Inlays.avi

(This is a 3Mb file and may take a few moments to download)

The video shows and explains, step by step how what's required to offset the geometry and then how to calculate toolpaths for the 'female' pocket and the 'male' insert.

Hope this helps,

Tony Mac

Hi Bob,

The option to create sharp corners is on the Offset Vectors form as shown in the attached image.

Hi Tony,

I would like to buy your software but my budget is.....so, I would like to ask you if do you have any financial schema? I think I would be able to pay it in 4 installments. Is there any chance for something like this?

Thank you,

Zoltan

PS: From where I can buy the mask spray Bob used?

Well I took the plunge and bought a copy of Vcarve today. Here's a shot of my first non-demo test. I think it came out pretty good considering it's oak and the bit I was using is pretty dull. But it was super easy to create in Vcarve. As I do more tests I’ll post the results.

Hi Jay,

Fantastic job!

It's great to see what customers can achieve with the software and thanks for the positive words.

We try to deliver what we say the software will do, no over-selling and I hope this is what you have found.

Jay,
Keep the pics coming that logo came out great.

Bob
They look really good Bob and the Hutchinson sign looks best of all. I guess that's the same font as the Bullshead Sign.

Who is that hiding behind the sign.

Jason
