I propose for your attention ZU converter. This programme for convert of files *.dwg, *.dxf, *.ai and the other sizes into Toolpath (TP) for your machine-tool.



ZU converter works together with ArtCam. Special postprocessor BiesseRT480_by_ZU_mm.con is written for ArtCam, this special postprocessor helps ZU convertor to reform files.
All know the problem of the sizes of files for RT 480/481. Such machine-tools have memory only 64 kB. And ZU converter not only converts files but also makes them smaller.
Now you don’t need waste your precious time for writing of TP by hand. ZU converter will do all work very quickly, only during some minutes.

ZU converter v2.0 was made for convert files TP that were obtained in ArtCam, write to a floppy for using by machines with the reception control RT480, RT481.
Moreover ZU converter v2.0 works with each Floppy-drive; reads and formats floppies CNI. When you work with a floppy it allows you to delete, rename and save files in operating programs and subprograms.
ZU converter v2.0 compresses the TP, reducing the file size.
There is one more useful function in ZU converter v2.0 – it can create floppy’s image. We know that floppies are short-lived. Save the floppy’s image on HDD with ZU converter v2.0.It can be preserved there for a long time. And you will be able to write this image on floppy. And it can create not only floppy’s image with programs and subprograms but any 1,4MB floppy’s image. This can be useful to save disk equipped with the installation files and data of the machine.
And that's not all. ZU converter v2.0 can work with floppy’s images, which are on your programs and subprograms, just like with usual floppy. You can delete file from image, copy it on HDD, write in image and even change file’s name.
And that's not all. With images of diskettes on which your programs and subprograms are written down, ZU converter v2.0 can work, as with normal a diskette. You can delete file from image, copy it on HDD, write in image and even change file’s name.

ZU converter v2.0 has modern and understandable interface which is easy to use. To convert a simple double-click on the desired file in the left field of the program and processed (converted) file appears in the right field.
To write the file you need to do to tab FLOPPY, choose in the left detail of the window in a drop-down list necessary drive, in the right detail – choose file to be written, click on it RCM and choose “Write to Floppy”.
Two Progress Bar displays the percentage of occupied disk volume (left) and disk, where the working folders ZU converter v2.0 (right).
There is the button “Mount Image” on the same tab, through which you can connect a floppy image to view and content, and editing. There is the disk image with the finished UP for RT48x in the installation directory ZU converter v2.0 (by default C:\Program Files\ZU converter) in the folder FloppyImage. You can write the image to the floppy and use it on the machine.
And elements on the third tab, called IMAGE, will help you to create floppy’s images and write this image on the floppy.
