The site says that this will handle 1/4 and 1/2 in routers. How many amps will it handle?

The official spec is around 1000W for 120v models and 1200W for 240v models, although the power handling components are rated for more than that. The product is in it's early stage so we are reluctant to spec it at its maximum just yet.

Bear in mind that the Super-PID has a power bargraph on the LCD so you can see the % power at all times and for most cutting tasks the router is being supplied reduced power (just enough power to maintain accurate RPM for that cutting task).
