Camshaft digitalizer

Our company is making camshaft digitalizer module (CSD) for our client. We like to know have anyone else interest this type innovation, because this is quite big project for one unit.

This camshaft digitalizer makes pure G-code with sub-program loops from cam profile which is measured rotary encoder and linear scale.

This G-code can use several types CNC/NC camhaft grinders. This CSD is not PC-based, though there is VGA/CV and PS/2-keyboard port. Also we put USB-stick reader and hardware handshaked RS-232 port.

Some other features what we are planning:

- Automatic cam Z-position from inginition order
- Overlap setting
- Finds automaticly highest point of cam (which is also used as zero-point)
- Target price around 1000$

Some features what we are planning in future:

- Cam profile calculator (fully automatic camshaft CAM)
- Grind wheel diameter compensation
