I have had the us cutter LP 24 model for awhile now and it works great..
Have been looking at cutters, to add some spice to my business, I am very familiar with plasma and waterjet cutting, I have a fab shop and cater to the big truck market. I'm looking at the US cutter MH 871 (there base model) and the Flexi 8 from Seiki, both of these are on Ebay and both are the 34" version. It looks like the Flexi 8 understands more software. Cutter pressures seem the same, one of the things I'm looking for is to able to cut templates from light poster paper and also use it as a single color pen plotter, besides cutting vinyl Any opinions would be helpful. Don't want to spend a ton of money for start up.
Thanks

Do you need to cut relatively thick material. If you need, maybe you need a flatbed cutter, as the desktop cutter plotter can not cut some of the material perfect.
