how it works?

How do youy control the paint? I dont understant how it blends the colors. I'm working on a cnc router.I work with some local bands here and this machine would make cool band banners.

Crow:
Color printing uses only 4 colors of ink, cyan (blue-green), magenta, yellow, and black. The whole rainbow is made by printing small dots of these 4 colors in combination.
The black ink is technically not needed, but without it black comes out kind of muddy looking.
