    Text on plastic part

What options are available for printing or placing text on a plastic part?

Like the text you find on a remote control. How do they do that so it doesn't rub off? Is that stamped on? Because the remote I'm looking at right now has some text at the bottom right that is no bigger then 1mm (1/32 inch) and is really sharp. That's the kind of printing I'm looking to recreate at about that size as well.

The printing that you are looking at is rubber pad stamped by a machine and not easy to replicate cheaply.
