Using a CNC plotter using I believe bi-polar, 8 motor connections down to 4 wires. When machine is sitting still the Y axis motor continues to heat up and up. Motor and drive have been exchanged and wiring checked, but an exchange motor in the Y axis position still heats without use,just holding. The original motor seems to have less detent than others now. Machine having to be run more slowly as it will fall over or loose position. Motor is Superior Electric MO61 CEO8. All 3 drives are the same, though, X axis has 2 motors, Z axis has a larger motor. Thanks for any help....  |
