Need stencil cutting software advise

Hello all, I dont know if I have a real problem or if I have too many projects going on and am not sleeping enough so my brain malfunctions.
I have a homebuilt cnc router and have mounted a dragknife in it for cutting stencils. My problem is what software to use to cut the stencils. I have been using Vcarve and Artcam to produce g-code but Vcarve wants to vcarve as it designed to do and cuts both sides of the line. All I need is that the knife run one line where the line of separation would be. Is there any free software available for this? If not what other software would be recomended. I hope I have made my issue clear. Everything I am used to using does 2.5 d or 3d what I need is just 2d one cut run along the line of the design. Anyone?
