DRAFTSMASTER DRIVER

I have a old HP Draftsmaster plotter 7595A that i would like to get up and running again. I must have misplaced the owners manual and driver, does anyone know where i could get my hands on this information?

DRAFTMASTER DRIVER

Hey, PERFECT CIRCLE thanks for the site but i couldn't get any information on the 7595A Plotter, seems they stop supporting it back in 2001. This is the curse of up dating, i just bought a new HP computer with Windows 7 and threw out my old computer that had the driver for the 7595A Plotter. The people i talked to at HP said that pen plotters was before their time and they are only familiar with the laser jet products. I am very disappointed in HP, when i spent $6,000 dollars for a plotter, that still works fine and they can't direct me on where to fine this information only try and sell me new needless to say i won't be purchasing any HP products in the future. I guess i'll just have to find a old timer just like myself for help. Thanks again for your input.

Hello I have a draft master like yours. I am running mine with an old win 98 computer. You might be able to use the disk to get the driver. I don't know if it will work with the newer software.

Autocad can still output to all the old HP pen plotters without using windows print drivers.
If I remember correctly the draftmaster is a hpgl2 product, have you tried a other hpgl2 print drivers from HP and other manufacturers such as roldand and graphtec?
Do you really expect HP to continue support for a computer product that is close to 15 years old and is obsolete/superceded?
