Looking to purchase new Knife cutting m/c

Hi all,

Looking to specify and purchase a tangential knife cutting machine but with an unusual requirement.

The material that we'll be cutting is a soft rubber of approximately 3mm thickness. In trials we have found that this leaves an 'overcut' on the inside of cuts. This is a problem for the process that we have in mind.

Is it possible to configure the unit to minimise this overcut (or preferably eliminate it completely?). Alternatively, is there another cutting technique that would allow us to cut the material without creating this overcut?

with knife cutting is no way to eliminate overcuts or minimize it with a cutting knife with a minimum angle that cuts your material or you may try water cutters
I don't know what machines you test, but all with knifes have overcuts, outside don't matter so much but inside cuts can be a problem depending on quality needed for parts you are cutting.
