OK here is the scoop. I got an lp4000 http://www.ioline.com/support/lp4000_s.html for free. free is always good. Anyway i really do not have any need for a pen plotter and i don't really need a vinyl cutter but cutting is more fun than printing. anyway most of what i see here is the hp7570 conversions, i was curious if anyone had any experience with the ioline of products and what it might entail to convert it over to a cutter instead of a plotter? I am guessing it would basically be swapping the pen out for a blade holder and getting a blade then basically getting the correct weight for cutting the vinyl. anyway if anyone has any suggestions on doing this it would be greatly appreciated.  |
