| Hi dirtbiker You will need a vector based program which you can assign cut lines to. you can use programs like Corel draw illustrator Flexisign to name a few. normally you assign the cut line using the thinist stoke with a Magenta spot colour. You may need a windows driver to to pre assign specific colours and cut info. The only program I know that has its own built in stand alone driver for the Roland PC60 is Flexisign. This will run it very well printing images and cutting text ect... Hope this helps KAT |

| I'll work with large-format printing on vinyl and other materials, and my honest opinion is that the PC-60 is a expensive and outdated technology. The roland PC-60 is slow and expensive as hell to run as a printer... those heads breaks and the color strips are both expensive and short lived... BUT... for small jobs like a few decals and some heat transfer it works great if you just clean it really well and keep it clean all the time, stay on top with the maintainance and it will serve you well. It also has the feature of printing gold/silver metallic spot colors. You can purchase third-party ribbons to make substantial savings on the expensive color cartridges, but be careful with the print head, it costs between 500$ and 1000$ to get changed or repaired. |
