Philips Plotter PM8154

Hello,
I'm looking for any information about this plotter. Cable wiring from pc, drivers, settings. This is 6-pen plotter but I can't make it working with my pc. It id working fine in a test mode.

This plotter does not seem to make use of the HP-GL protocol. At least it's "language" is listed in contrast to the HP-GL standard in some instrument recording application.

The Eagle printed circuit board software has a useful selection of plotter language translations, but I did not find the Philips 8154 listed there.

Similar instruments that would use similar "drivers" would be the 8153/1 and 8153/6 as well as the 8155 plotters.

Having had a similar and successful search for information regarding an IBM XY-750 pen plotter, I wish you well on the search. It can take time, but worth it.

I presently have operating multi pen plotters HP7550, the IBM XY-750 and a Graphtec which also can use the HP-GL protocol.
