Just curious why is the design different on all the machines? Is it older models and you updated the design?
I am talking about the gantry designs.
Another 2010 Precision Plasma LLC model is a 3 x 4 split frame plasma table. The actual travel is 40" x 50". Below are the benefits of this design.
- Small footprint of 4' x 5'
- Table consists of 2 fully welded frames
- A water pan can be placed between the 2 frames
- The 4' width allows it to fit in a pickup truck
- The 2 frame design allows it to fit through a door, 1 piece at a time

I am talking about the gantry designs.
The gantry designs have evolved over time. It has been to improve quality and reduce costs. If you study the machines from oldest to newest, you can see the progression over 3 years. The latest gantry, the 2x3, in a lower cost solution than our standard gantry and is only used on the small tables. This was designed to meet a specific price point for the small footprint tables.
I anticipate that the current standard gantry design will remain the same for quite some time. We have (2) Z axis screw choices and the gantry works well direct drive or with 2:1 belt reduction units. It also has the optimal weight and rigidity for plasma cutting.
