Need Help!- Convert Autocad file to MasterCam

Hello.
I am able to open some of my Autocad files in Master Cam & some not.
Files saved in Autocad2000 are able to open.
Files saved by using Autocad 20004 is unable to open.

I am using MasterCam V9 & AutoCad 2004.

Need help, will appreciated.

Autocad = dxf.
your problem is you are useing an old version of MC and a new version of Autocad.
That said just change the file name to .dxf and try it again. think that will work.

By the way, I feel sorry for you having to mess with autocad at all.........LOL

take your files created in2004 save as 2000
when saving the file use save as when the drop down menu opens use the selection box and save as 2000 file type
iuse 2006 and some of my customers send files in 07 format this works for me
