Couple of EMC2 G-code problems.

Hello.

I'm using Mastercam X2 and EMC2 v2.1.6 using the EMCMPFAN postprocessor in Mastercam.
Overall the g-code works fine but a couple of things i have to edit every time, wich becomes a bit annoying.

The first one, example row:
N2 T1 M6 N2 G0 G90 X119.9 Y69.5 S10000 M3 N2 G43 H1 Z10 M8 N2 Z7
The problems are that "N2" occurs multiple times on that row and i get "Bad character used" error in EMC2. Also when i remove them it complains of multiple Z-commands on the same row.

The second one:
N79 G3 R52. F400
EMC2 complains that all axes are missing with motion code.
I'm not good at reading g-code but the above row should mean a circle with the radius 52mm and return to the start point.

Can i somehow fix these things so i don't have to edit them manully every thime?
(The second one i don't know how to edit).

greets
MaggoT

I got the second problem fixed by reading a bit about how G2/G3 works, i then added lead in and lead out to the pocket (wich i should have done anyway) so that one is fixed.

However the first problem i have no solution to, from what i understand Nxx is nothing but a line number, so the question is why does there have to be many of those on one line? Or have i missed something?
I have to edit those out in multiple locations in every nc-file so i would really like to get rid of it "the real way".

What you need to do is FORCE a new line in the post by adding a " ,e " at the places where you are getting the multiple line numbers.
In V10, I think it would be " ,$e "

Hi.
Where can i add this? Can i edit the postprocessor-file directly or how do i do it?

I removed line numbering in the settings so now i only have to remove the multiple Z-commands, however in large files it becomes rather annoying as well.

Thanks.

Sorry but I don't get the same problem posting thru V9.1
What version of Mcam are you using?
If you are using V10, the problem might be in your control definition.

open up a sample file do a small path that gives you these issues. then go to help and use the Zip2Go tool this will give your settings your machine and control along with the post info. Now share that with Obrian.

I have noticed this is a V7 post.
Did you run the post conversion utility using V7 as the original input file version?
