    2 questions about post editing

The machine I am working with is an old Mori, I am using MC X2. I know how to edit the post, I just don't know what to change to do this.

The way MC outputs the 2 line G76 (threading) code; it puts decimal points after the two Q/R values in the first line, I need it not to do that, just Q0 R0 Instead of Q0. R0.

2nd; The machine needs to cancel the tools offset before tool-change or they will stack up. The post does this but it does it at the part face, I would like it to do it after G28 U0 W0. Are these easy fixes, or do I need to pay for maintenance?

    Thanks for any input, Robert

    Rob,

have you tried the guys at emastercam? I hesitate to get too involved with this as I am not nearly the experts that they are regarding post editing...although I've had success with my own posts.

Those guys are like flies on stink when it comes to jumping on post editing. They'll get you up and running quick.
