    Smile Need correct rotation

Thought I had this fixed. I'm modifying the Generic Fanuc 5X Mill post, ( using X4, MU3) for our HAAS VF-4, with a Tsudakoma\ TN-160 mounted on it. B tilt's in -X(0-90) & A rotates (360). Tweeking for a couple of day's & can't get it correct. I'm uploading a pic of how the 5th axis is on the mill. I know this much is correct, because I've set it up in UG NX5.(lot's easier). Also uploaded a text file with the code I'm getting, & the part of the post I'm tweeking. Y will stay at 0, & X will stay at X-7.5886. Should be only one "B" index, (55deg), & 6 "A" output's, starting with, 0,60,120,180,240, & 300 with the test part I'm using. Steve, if your out there, I need your help on this one, You have helped me in the past with post issues , before. Thank's in advance.
    Regard's,
    Harold

    You callin me??

H, we have similar transom, but the B is aligned along the X axis, which makes it an A address, limits are A20 to A-110

When our 4th axis=0, the 5th axis is perpendicular to the Z, this makes it a C axis address ( C rotates around Z ), limits are C0 to 360

This could be your problem ?

Remember to use the WCS of the part drawn in TOP view of the setup ( with all axes set to zero ), and T/C planes to be how the tool "sees" the part relative to this WCS

You do understand the way to program for a horizontal ?
It may have to be in this sort of setup, ( thinking aloud )

    Hello,
where can i get the Generic Fanuc 5X Mill post ?
Can someone upload it, because i don't have X2 or X3 here.
Maybe someone has updated the post to X5 ?
It's not on the last X4 or X5 setups anymore.
    Thanks,
    chester
