i found this mach3 postprocessor
It supports 3 or 4 axis machines!
Hope you find it useful!
How well does mach 3 stand up to Ajax controls/software?
no idea, i'm not using it, i just put it out there, try it see how it works.
Newbie alert:
I'm trying to create a control definition for my Sieg X2 benchtop via Mach3. I'm putting this post into X5 and it tells me that it has not been updated for this version of MasterCAm and I should use UpdatePost.dll to update the processor file. How do I go about doing this?
Since UpdatePost.dll is in the chook folder (C:/Program Files/mcamx5/chooks) should I specify it in the 'Chook from Misc. values button' field of the Files > Mill section of my control definition manager?
Hi
No ,Simply run updatepost.dll and point to the old post file, give it a new name and press update. The prosess is automated. Not that it is fail proof and that the new conversion file will work as you would want it to but at least it will be executable by X5. With some tweeking you should get it to do what you to.
Hope it helps
