This is probably the wrong area to post this but I am having the darndest time trying to locate manuals, programming, diagnostic, etc for my Chevalier with Anilam 1100 control. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi all I'm new to the CnC world. My shop bought a Eagle mill with an Anilam 1100 controler. A friend of mine let me try Mastercam 9 to write a program and try to use the G code converter to see if it works. I got it transfered to my floppy disk and went to the machine to log it and it says no file found on disk. I have tride everything I can think of with no luck. Any help would be great.
Thanks Dave

We've got the same Anilam 1100... the trick to "logging" in g code files is two fold... first rename the .tap file to .g (assuming it's a legitamate g-code file to begin with). Pop the floppy in the drive, pick program, pick log, pick A:, the display may look blank as it filters for .m files only at first, pick "Display" a few times, and you should see all files. Now choose the .g file you want and copy to your "user" folder. Conversion only happens there. Then run the converter! That should do it.
