i run a mori sl-403 when we save r programs thru the rs-232 cable we loose r tool file but when i save them thru the card reader it save's the tool file's
the only poblem with saving them on the card reader is that when i put it into my pc i can't look at the program is there a program out there that read's spl files or must i save the programs both way's

Are you actually losing the tool files or is the machine just not sending them through rs-232? You may have to tell the control to send it as well with the program.

a cording to the book it will not send the tool fill with when we save it rs-232 only when we save it but the card reader the capps it is really dum but that is the only why i could find out how to do it

It seems odd I think. I'm not that familiar with the SL-403 so hopefully someone on this forum can help you out. Good luck.
