2008 Omnitec selexx mate(fanuc mm) post problem to use v-carve pro | | This is my first post , I have to admit I know really nothing about these communities, or how someone can actually find what they are looking for. This all seems alien to me. Anyway, I am quite frustrated about my inability to modify my post in order to run vectrc's v-carve pro. I was high pressure sales talked into buying bobcad( paid to much, if you wait 2 days the price will be 1/2) the bobcad was a disaster, it is set up for mainly metal and doesn't like my wood tools or wood . After a year I still cannot cut anything on my omnitect. I was looking for a still wood sign making program that was user friendly and cnc friendly. I came across v-carve from vectric, wow what an amazing software, so I thought. I have yet to get a post. Vectric, at first was very upbeat and tried to help, Omnitec was very surprised that Vectric was having problems with the post, their responce was "sure all these so called cad programs are good until you have to write a post" ( ackhurst, omnitec dealer sells alpha cad) so back and forth we went, Vectric almost had the post then gave up. Has anyone elese tried to use Vectric software on a omnitec router????? I have been told by vectric that their posts work on omnitec pal routers......there are just too many errors on the post especially ars...Vectric uses I's or J's and there is a no decimal behind the feed rate...anyone out there have a omnitec selexx mate that is using v-carve pro? we will see how this actually works. |
