Heidenhain to A2100 or Fanuc Conversion ?

We have recently aquired a newish Bridgeport VMC with Heidenhain control and would like to run the programs writtern for it on our Cincinati A2100 arrow Vmc's wich can also take (after a fashion) standard Fanuc ISO G code.

Older Heidenhains used to be able to swop between ISO / Conversational by changing a simple setting. Doing this also converted programs in its memory as well which was handy.

Our Bridgeport VMC however, with its flashy colour plasma screen and its fancy features will not !

Has anyone heard of a utility that will convert Heidenhain conversational into Fanuc G code or A2100 ?

What type of Heidenhain controller does your machine have? As far as I know, All Heidenhain controls can take both ISO and Heidenhain language.

The problem is we want to run programs that were writtern on the Bridgeport in Heidenhain (410 control) conversational on our Arrow A2100 machines, Not the other way round !

We aquired the machine with several frequent jobs already programmed up, we want to take advantage of this and run some of them on our A2100 based Cincinati Arrow 500's.

I've solved the problem !!!

I sold the Bridgeport VMC500xp !

It may be a couple of years newer than our discontinued model Arrow 500's with their tempremental A2100 controls but selling it can buy me 2 used £10,000 arrows which after spending a week with suposedly Bridgeport's finest,
A2100 arrows arn't so bad after all ! just got to rewite a few programs.
