Editing MasterCam Posts

I want to edit the generic posts that came with my MC software for Fanuc and Yaznak controllers. Where can I learn the Language necessary to accomplish this task?
Thankyou in advance for any help.

You can always hire someone to modify your post or get trained on post writing.

G'day
The language is calleded MP. You can get more info at: http://www.emastercam.com They are good and helpful, but don't ask them for a postprocessor.

Having modified many MasterCam posts in the past, I can tell you the post processor language is closer to BASIC than C.
The post file itself is mearly an ASCII text file that you can edit with any word processor that will save an UNFORMATTED text file.
Notepad will do just fine.
It does take some time to figure out what each section of the post actually does.
Best way to learn is change ONE thing at a time in the post file.
Then see how it affects the output code.
It's easy to fix one mistake in the post.
