Need help on Mastercam 8.1 - MP5300 post

Hello,
I can't seem to get past sqaure one on using the MP5300 post for our Anilam 1400.

I get an error:"selector variable absinc=8.0 out of range for string select" It won't go any futher. Never makes any code.

I'm able to use the post for our Centroid M400 only as long as no arcs are used. Needless to say that is very limiting.

The M400 post seems to invert the I & J values for arcs and the Anilam cuts wild circles.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,Steve

Thanks!

Thanks Steve! I'll give Mike a call.

One thing I discovered if anyone is interested is that the MC V9 CENT5 post works for the Anilam 1400 controller. It gives error warnings about circle adjusted beyond max when I run the program with arcs in it, but it doses't effect the sizes or the outcome of the part in the least.(so far)

So its been working like a charm. The way I found it was posting a simple part in different posts and looking for the correct combination of defining arc center and radius.

Pretty sure I have a V8 post for the 5300 somewhere. Call me.
